What an incredible Term 3 it has been. We are so proud of everything our dancers have achieved this term — the growth, the dedication and the moments that make this community so special.
As we head into the final stretch, here are your upcoming term dates to note:
Term 3 concludes — Saturday 19th September
Term 4 resumes — Monday 5th October
End of Year Concert — Sunday 29th November, Somerset College

From Monday 15th September to Saturday 19th September, we’re inviting parents and caregivers into the studio for Open House Week — our favourite week of the term.
It’s a chance to watch your dancer in class, see their development first hand, and experience the training environment they’re part of each week.
Families are welcome to view any technique classes across the timetable (excluding eisteddfod classes).
We look forward to welcoming our Coastal Dance community into the studio!
There is something about watching our dancers step into a competition environment — the focus, the nerves, the moment they hit the stage and all of that preparation comes to life.

We are so excited to share that we now have two Mini Ballerinas classes on offer each week, giving our littlest dancers even more opportunities to find their rhythm and fall in love with movement.
NEW— Wednesday — Mini Ballerinas | 10:00–10:30am
Saturday — Mini Ballerinas | 10:00–10:30am
Saturday — Mini Acrobats | 10:30–11:00am
Designed for little dancers aged 2–4, our Mini Ballerinas classes offer the perfect introduction to dance through the age-appropriate Mini Balanced Ballerina syllabus — a nurturing, joyful environment where every child feels welcomed and celebrated.
Our Wednesday morning class still has places available and we would love to welcome new families. If you know a little one who loves to dance, we would love to meet them.
Some exciting news from one of our Coastal Dance alumni!
Angelina Dozzi (2021 Graduate) has officially landed in Singapore as she begins her contract as a performer at Universal Studios.
You may remember Angelina from our Legacy Series last year, where she shared her journey through Coastal Dance and into the professional industry.
We are so proud of Angelina and everything she has worked towards. Wishing her the most amazing time performing and we look forward to following her on this exciting new chapter.

Join us on Wednesday the 24th September 2025 for a full day of dance inspiration! From 9:00am – 3:00pm, dancers will train across five exciting styles: Contemporary, Commercial Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, and Acrobatics.
We have two streams – Primary School and High School – so every dancer can get the most out of their day. Whether you’re a Coastal student or from another studio, this workshop is open to all dancers who want to learn, grow, and be challenged in a supportive and professional environment.

We are thrilled to share that Holly Johnston is off on another incredible adventure! Holly has secured a 12-month contract with Okada Entertainment at the prestigious Okada Hotel and Casino, Phillipines.
Holly is already in rehearsals, preparing to be part of the in-house entertainment team, performing across various productions throughout the casino.
At Coastal Dance, we take great pride in nurturing dancers to a professional standard, and seeing our alumni thrive on international stages is a testament to the dedication of both our students and teachers. Holly’s success is an inspiration to our current dancers, showing that with passion, training, and perseverance, anything is possible.
