We are excited to host our annual Summer Intensive on Tuesday the 10th – Wednesday the 11th of January, 2023.

With 3 age groups available: Junior (School Grade 2 – 5), Intermediate (School Grade 6 – 9) and Senior (School Grade 10 – 12) students will take 8 classes over 2 days.

Our 2023 faculty are: Joel Murphy: Contemporary, Olivia Smith: Jazz, Max Patterson: Musical Theatre, Kira Stray: Hip Hop, Jasmin Mansfield-French: Acrobatics, Nina Green: Lyrical, Amy Donnelly: Conditioning and Kate Grazioli: Technique.

ANNOUNCEMENT!

We are excited to announce changes to our ballet program in 2023.

After dedicating the past 10 years to the Ballet Conservatoire syllabus we have made the decision to change to organisations that have other offerings and opportunities for our students.

From 2023 Junior students who meet the requirements will be given the opportunity to sit yearly in person examinations with COMDANCE (formally CSTD).

From 2023 Senior students who meet the requirements will be given the opportunity to sit Major examinations with the Royal Academy of Dance.

We have always been dedicated to giving our students a strong classical foundation in which all their other genres are built on. With new opportunities arising from these changes we are excited to welcome the next decade of Coastal Dance!

We are excited to be hosting a Flips & Tricks Workshop next Wednesday the 21st of Spetember.

Split into 2 age groups (Junior & Senior) each workshop will consist of a 1-hour International Dance Technique class and a 1-hour Acrobatics class.

Congratulations to our #teamcoastal groups who travelled to the Coffs Harbour District Eisteddfod. We had a great time as always and our students received amazing results!

As always, we performed in the Teacher Feature section with all eisteddfod students and Miss Kate, Miss Jasmin and Miss Mia. We were awarded 1st place!
