Easter Intensive

We are excited to be holding our 1-Day Easter Intensive on Wednesday the 12th of April 2023!

Join us for a jam packed day of classes across 5 genres with an incredible line up of instructors.

We have Anna Johsnton for Jazz, Chelsea Robertson for Contemporary, Carlie Kendall for Acrobatics, Mia Lowe for Hip Hop and our Musical Theatre teacher is still to be announced.

We have two age groups for this intensive which is Primary School and High School. Both age groups will have classes from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

Summer Intensive ’23

We are excited to host our annual Summer Intensive on Tuesday the 10th – Wednesday the 11th of January, 2023.

With 3 age groups available: Junior (School Grade 2 – 5), Intermediate (School Grade 6 – 9) and Senior (School Grade 10 – 12) students will take 8 classes over 2 days.

Our 2023 faculty are: Joel Murphy: Contemporary, Olivia Smith: Jazz, Max Patterson: Musical Theatre, Kira Stray: Hip Hop, Jasmin Mansfield-French: Acrobatics, Nina Green: Lyrical, Amy Donnelly: Conditioning and Kate Grazioli: Technique.

Workshop Week ’22

We will holding our annual Workshop Week from Tuesday the 29th to Thursday the 1st of December. This is an opportunity for those wishing to join #teamcoastal in the new year to trial classes or current members to try other genres.

New in 2023!!

ANNOUNCEMENT!

We are excited to announce changes to our ballet program in 2023.

After dedicating the past 10 years to the Ballet Conservatoire syllabus we have made the decision to change to organisations that have other offerings and opportunities for our students.

From 2023 Junior students who meet the requirements will be given the opportunity to sit yearly in person examinations with COMDANCE (formally CSTD).

From 2023 Senior students who meet the requirements will be given the opportunity to sit Major examinations with the Royal Academy of Dance.

We have always been dedicated to giving our students a strong classical foundation in which all their other genres are built on. With new opportunities arising from these changes we are excited to welcome the next decade of Coastal Dance!

Spring Intensive ’22

We are excited to host a 1-Day Spring Intensive on Wednesday the 28th of September!! We have 4 x 1-hour classes split into 3 age groups

Classes include: Art with Melanie Sokoleski, Hip Hop with Tianna Campbell, Jazz with Mia Lowe, Contemporary / Lyrical with Joel Murphy

Age Groups

Junior: School Grade 3 – 5
Intermediate: School Grade 6 – 8
Senior: School Grade 9 – 12
