We are excited to welcome ex Coastal Dance (1st generation) student Beau Middlebrook back to the studio to teach a workshop on Thursday the 11th of December. There will be 2 levels – Junior (13 years & under) is 4:00 – 5:30 & Senior (14 Years & Over) 5:30 – 7:00. This workshop is free for Coastal Dance students & $10 for outsiders.

Beau has just returned from the international tour of West Side Story, has previously worked for Disney cruise lines & studied at Broadway Dance Center.
We are excited to welcome Beau back to Coastal Dance!

We will be having our annual EOY Party on Saturday the 20th of December at Currumbin Creek (near the GC Highway underpass) from 10:00am – 3:00pm. The studio will supply a BBQ but ask you to bring BYO own nibbles & chairs. Our awards presentation will be at 11:30am. We hope to see you there to celebrate yet another successful year!

Our annual eisteddfod movie night will be held on Sunday the 26th of October starting at 5:30pm.

We will be ordering pizza & ask for a small donation. Open to all families of Coastal Dance!

Coastal Dance will be presenting our first Soloist Showcase on Sunday the 23rd of November at the Helensvale Cultural Centre from 3:00 – 5:00pm. This concert will feature our students & their competitive routines in song, dance & drama. Tickets are available to purchase at the studio or on the day. Ticket prices are $10 for Adults & $5 for Concession & Children  This is an open performance and all are welcome!

On the 29th of July, 2014 Coastal Dance participated in our first session of Australian Conservatoire of Ballet exams with examiner Valmai Roberts. We are extremely proud of how our students prepared themselves for their first ACB exam, which they received a 100% pass rate with 3 candidates being awarded a Distinction.

Congratulations to all of our Coastal Dance eisteddfod teams for their outstanding performances at the Gold Coast Eisteddfod.

We will be welcoming Autumn Marie Dones to the studio this Wednesday (27/08) for a contemporary workshop. Autumn is currently on a teaching tour around the world & has taught at studios such as Pineapple Dance Studios (UK) & Broadway Dance Centre (US).

There will be a Senior Workshop 4:00 – 5:00 & a Junior Workshop 5:00 – 6:00.
