In 2016 Coastal Dance will be holding our first ever company auditions for students wishing to compete in our 2016 eisteddfod teams. Coastal Dance performs in 4 local eisteddfod throughout the year & students are also given performance opportunities within our local community.
Students joining our company are required to commit to the entire 2016 season & all rehearsals, extra requirements. If you are interested in joining our 2016 company teams please contact us to book your audition spot.
A very special person within our Coastal Dance Community is our Nanny Noel. In 2015 the Nanny Noel ‘Shining Star Award’ was created, which is to be awarded to the person who shines the brightest in our EOY concert. The inaugural winner of the award was Lauren Owen. Congratulations Lauren!

On Tuesday the 8th of December we announced the inaugural winner of the Coastal Dance Scholarship, Joel Murphy. Joel is a key member of our studio who’s passion & commitment inspires us all. The scholarship covers 12months tuition & will be awarded annually. Congratulations Joel!
We will be holding our 2nd annual Soloist Showcase on Friday the 27th of November at the Helensvale Cultural Centre. Doors open at 6:00pm with the showcase starting at 6:30pm. Tickets are $10each & will be available from the studio closer to the date or available on the door.

Congratulations to Amelia Mills who was awarded an adjudicators encouragement award at the Gold Coast Eisteddfod! Amelia received a years subscription to DanceTrain magazine.
Congratulations to Joel Murphy who was the Runner Up for the MURWILLUMBAH ROTARY CLUB SCHOLARSHIP at the Murwillumbah Festival of Performing Arts. Joel performed at the Gala evening, where he received his award.
