Coastal Dance will be hosting our 4th session of Tapatak Oz exams on Monday the 20th of June, 2016. Exam candidates will be selected & notified in the first week of Term 2.
USA Bake Sale
On Saturday the 13th of March, our senior students held a Bake Sale to raise funds for their upcoming USA trip. The Bake Sale raised $321.40 which will go towards group transfers & transport in Los Angeles & New York. We would like to thank The Pastry Emporium www.thepastryemporium.com.au for their donation of 100 cupcakes & our studio families for their support!
Valentine’s Mufti Day
This Saturday the 13th of February, Coastal Dance will be holding it’s first Mufti Day of the year! All Saturday students are encouraged to wear in Pink & Red to celebrate Valentine’s Day!
LOcREaDO Dance Program, Gold Coast
Congratulations to senior students Joel Murphy, Holly Johnston, Jorja Coe & Riley Johnston who have all been successful in auditioning for the latest season of the LOcREaDO Dance Program. Joel was also the only male dancer awarded a half scholarship for the program. We look forward to the performance later on in the year
Make-Up Demonstration
Coastal Dance will be holding a make-up demonstration at the studio on Friday the 11th of March from 6:00 – 7:00pm. All studio families are invited to attend as Standout Cosmetics will be doing a full demo of our stage look. Tapatak Oz Workshop
Students are invited to attend the Tapatak Oz workshop held from Monday the 18th of January – Wednesday the 20th of January, in Brisbane. Students will learn from the creator of the Tapatak Oz syllabus, Christine Denny in a fun & encouraging environment. To book your spot please click HERE. 19th Ave Christmas Carols
On Sunday the 20th of December, a small group of Coastal Dance students performed at the 19th Avenue ‘Carols in the Carpark’. We received fabulous reviews of our song & dance performance & have already been invited back for the 2016 carols!

Company Auditions
In 2016 Coastal Dance will be holding our first ever company auditions for students wishing to compete in our 2016 eisteddfod teams. Coastal Dance performs in 4 local eisteddfod throughout the year & students are also given performance opportunities within our local community.
Students joining our company are required to commit to the entire 2016 season & all rehearsals, extra requirements. If you are interested in joining our 2016 company teams please contact us to book your audition spot.
