Coastal Dance will be holding 2 sign on days for the upcoming dance year on Wednesday the 11th & Wednesday the 18th of January from 3:00 – 7:00pm. Coastal Dance holds annual auditions for students new & existing to join our eisteddfod teams. This year they will be held on Saturday the 21st of January at the studio. We are an inclusive dance school & auditions are held to confirm the commitment from students & parents for the dance year. Coastal Dance was excited to be involved with the first Currumbin Community Carols on Saturday the 17th of December. This was a Gold Coast City Council event supported by Division 14. Coastal Dance has been apart of the Currumbin community for over 30 years & we love to perform at local events!

Congratulations to Joel Murphy who is the first graduate of Coastal Dance! Joel started at Coastal in 2005 & has developed into a strong & versatile dancer over the years. He has performed with the LOcREaDO Dance Company in China as well as Sydney, Brisbane & the Gold Coast & won numerous awards at eisteddfods.

Joel will continue his training at Dynamite Studios Australia where he received a full scholarship to complete his certificate IV in dance. We are sad to loose Joel from our day to day studio life but we’re excited to watch his next chapter as he chases his dreams.

Congratulations to Holly Johnston who was announced the winner of the Coastal Dance Scholarship last night! The scholarship is awarded to one student per year & covers 12 months of tuition. Holly is an extremely dedicated student who always works hard and shows incredible potential for the dance industry.
